Anastasia Island Branch Closure
The Anastasia Island Branch Library will be temporarily closed for renovations beginning Monday, September 15. This project is anticipated to be complete in approximately two weeks, and the facility is projected to reopen to the public in early October. During this closure, no items will be due, all holds will be extended, and impacted patrons will not accrue late fees. For more information and updates on this closure, please visit our website at www.sjcpls.org.

SJCPLS is giving away two pairs of EnChroma glasses for color blindness awareness this September. Enter by visiting any branch or bookmobile and asking for an entry form by September 30. Gale In Context: Elementary and Middle School
Start the school year strong with Gale In Context: Elementary and Middle School. These easy-to-use databases offer curated resources for students, teachers, and parents. Elementary students can explore topics by subject, while teachers get access to guides, lesson plans, and activities. Middle schoolers can browse over 700 topics and use a topic finder to discover related subjects. Both platforms include articles, photos, videos, adjustable reading levels, and audio read-aloud features.
