Library Growth Across St. Johns County
We’re excited about the addition of our new library branches. For the latest updates on their progress, visit our Library New Construction Updates page. This page will keep you informed as new branch locations are developed across the county to improve access and modernize library spaces. Teen Financial Literacy
SJCPLS, in partnership with the Jacksonville Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, is offering free financial education classes for teens ages 15–20.
 
Classes run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on:
  • Saturday, June 8 – Bartram Trail Branch
  • Saturday, June 22 – Southeast Branch
  • Saturday, July 18 – Ponte Vedra Beach Branch
Registration is required to attend program.

Upcoming Closures for May
St. Johns County Public Library System locations will be closed:
 
Staff Development Day:
  • Closed on Wednesday, May 6, for Staff Development Day.
  • Reopens Thursday, May 7.
Memorial Day:
  • Closed on Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day.
  • Reopens Tuesday, May 26.
Book drops will remain open and virtual services including e-books, downloadables, and databases are available 24/7.
